Terms of Use
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Watch ID (“Watch ID,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a watch identification and collection management app provided by .
By downloading, accessing, or using Watch ID, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. App Store Terms
If you downloaded Watch ID from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable Apple Media Services terms. These Terms supplement those Apple terms. If there is a conflict, Apple’s terms will control where required by Apple or applicable law.
2. What Watch ID Does
Watch ID allows users to take or submit watch photos for AI-assisted watch identification, estimated reference valuation, rarity assessment, and collection organization.
The App may provide information such as brand, collection, model name, reference number, estimated secondary-market price range, rarity level, origin, material, movement-related details, and other watch-related information.
3. Informational Use Only
Watch ID is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
The identification, appraisal, rarity, market value, and watch information generated by the App may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or uncertain. WatchID does not provide certified appraisal, authentication, investment, insurance, legal, tax, or professional collecting advice.
You should not rely solely on Watch ID results when buying, selling, insuring, authenticating, or valuing a watch. Always consult a qualified watch expert, dealer, auction house, service center, or certified appraiser before making financial or ownership decisions.
4. AI-Generated Results
Watch ID uses automated AI technology to analyze watch photos. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, misidentifications, missing information, or estimated values that differ from real market prices.
You are responsible for reviewing and independently verifying any results before using them. We do not guarantee that any watch identification, reference number, price range, rarity score, or related information is correct.
5. User Photos and Inputs
You are responsible for the photos and content you submit to the App. You agree that you will not submit content that:
- Violates any law or third-party right;
- Contains private, sensitive, or personal information that you do not want processed;
- Includes offensive, illegal, harmful, or infringing material;
- Misrepresents ownership, authenticity, or condition of a watch.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to submit any photos or content you provide.
6. Free Usage and Pro Subscription
Watch ID may offer a limited number of free watch identifications per day. After the free limit is reached, access to additional identifications or premium features may require a Watch ID Pro subscription.
Watch ID Pro may include features such as unlimited identification, expanded watch appraisal, and collection management features. Available features may change over time as the App evolves.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewal
Watch ID offers auto-renewable subscription options, including monthly and annual plans. Subscription pricing and trial availability are shown in the App before purchase.
When you confirm a purchase, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple’s rules.
8. Refunds
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not control Apple’s refund process and cannot guarantee that Apple will issue a refund.
To request a refund, please follow Apple’s refund process through your Apple ID purchase history or Apple Support.
9. Account and Device Access
Watch ID currently does not require a user account for core app use. Certain features may rely on Apple, StoreKit, Firebase, or other platform services to process subscriptions, protect the App from abuse, or provide AI-powered functionality.
You are responsible for maintaining control of your device, Apple ID, and App Store account.
10. Local Collection Data
If you choose to save watch results to your collection, the App may store watch-related information locally on your device, including identification result data, brand, model, reference number, price estimates, rarity information, and thumbnail images.
You are responsible for managing and deleting saved collection items in the App or by removing the App from your device.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Watch ID for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or interfere with the App;
- Circumvent subscription limits, usage limits, security checks, or payment systems;
- Use automated tools to overload or abuse the App or its third-party services;
- Misrepresent AI-generated results as certified authentication or guaranteed appraisal;
- Use the App in a way that violates Apple’s rules or any applicable law.
12. Third-Party Services
Watch ID may rely on third-party services, including Apple services for subscriptions and Google/Firebase services for AI processing, analytics, app integrity, and related infrastructure.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, data processing practices, or changes outside our control.
13. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Watch ID at any time, including features, subscription benefits, AI models, usage limits, or pricing where permitted by law and platform rules.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
14. No Warranty
Watch ID is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated results will be accurate.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chengdu Nebula Scroll Technology Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, purchase or sale losses, appraisal errors, or reliance on incorrect watch information.
Our total liability for any claim related to Watch ID will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription during the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Watch ID if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, attempt to bypass payment or security systems, or use the App in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.
You may stop using Watch ID at any time. Canceling a subscription must be done through your Apple ID account settings.
