Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SnapGuide (“SnapGuide,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information when you use the App.
SnapGuide is provided by Chengdu Nebula Scroll Technology Co.
SnapGuide helps users analyze reference photographs using artificial intelligence and convert them into step-by-step photography guidance.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect and Process
Depending on how you use SnapGuide, we may collect or process the following categories of information.
1.1 Reference Photos
When you use SnapGuide’s AI photography guidance features, you may select or submit a photograph for analysis.
The photograph may contain people, faces, locations, objects, surroundings, clothing, or other visible information.
Reference photos are processed so that SnapGuide can analyze elements such as composition, subject placement, camera position, shooting distance, perspective, lighting, posing, and other visual characteristics needed to generate photography guidance.
Please only submit photos that you have the right or permission to use. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information, identification documents, payment cards, addresses, or other information that you do not want processed by third-party AI services.
1.2 AI Analysis and Generated Content
SnapGuide may generate and process information derived from a reference photo, including:
- A title describing the reference shot;
- Suggested items or preparation needed before shooting;
- Step-by-step photography instructions;
- Information about composition, camera position, distance, angle, subject placement, pose, lighting, or similar photography characteristics;
- Structured information used to create photography guidance;
- An AI-generated instructional sketch or illustration.
AI-generated results are produced automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular situation.

- The reference photo;
- The AI-generated instructional image;
- The generated title;
- Preparation instructions;
- Step-by-step shooting instructions;
- The date and time the guide was saved;
- Internal identifiers used to organize saved guides.
This information is used to display and manage your saved photography guides.
Saving a guide is optional.
1.4 Subscription and Purchase Information
SnapGuide may offer paid features through SnapGuide Pro.
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and subscription and entitlement information is managed with RevenueCat.

SnapGuide does not receive your full payment card number or full payment credentials from Apple.
1.5 App and Device Information
SnapGuide uses Firebase services to provide AI functionality and may process limited technical information necessary to operate those services.
Depending on Firebase configuration and platform behavior, this may include:

SnapGuide may store limited information locally on your device to remember App state and preferences, such as onboarding completion, feature state, or similar settings required for normal App operation.
2. How We Use Information
We use information described in this Privacy Policy to:
- Analyze reference photographs;

We do not use submitted photographs for the purpose of identifying the people appearing in them.
3. AI Processing and Google/Firebase Services
SnapGuide uses Firebase AI Logic and Google Gemini-related services to provide AI-powered photography analysis and image generation.
When you submit a reference photograph for AI analysis, the photograph and related request information are transmitted to Google/Firebase services so that the selected Gemini model can process the image and generate a response.
Generated information may then be used to create photography instructions and an AI-generated instructional illustration.
Google/Firebase may process request information according to its applicable terms, privacy policies, data-governance practices, and Gemini API terms.
SnapGuide does not control the independent data-processing practices, infrastructure, or retention policies of Google or Firebase.
By using SnapGuide’s AI features, you understand that the photographs and related prompts or generated information necessary to provide those features may be processed by Google/Firebase.
4. RevenueCat
SnapGuide uses RevenueCat to manage purchases, subscription entitlements, offerings, purchase restoration, and SnapGuide Pro access.
RevenueCat may process purchase history, Apple transaction or receipt information, anonymous user identifiers, device information, product identifiers, subscription status, and other technical information required to provide its services.
RevenueCat processes this information according to its own privacy policy and applicable service terms.
We use RevenueCat information primarily to:

5. Apple Services
Payments, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, purchase restoration, and other App Store transactions are provided by Apple.
Apple may process payment information, Apple ID information, device information, transaction information, purchase history, and other information according to Apple’s own privacy policy and applicable terms.
We do not control Apple’s data-processing practices.

Where required by applicable law, service providers may use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with SnapGuide.
However, no application, network, device, storage system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, device passcode, Apple ID, and associated accounts.

The operation of SnapGuide depends in part on third-party services.
Your information may therefore also be subject to the privacy policies and terms of:
